Topline: Norbert is a top-notch individual with deep expertise in quality and compliance topics (especially in the sporting goods industry), and I expect others who have worked with him will share the same.
Additional Details: Norbert was one of the first people I met when I joined adidas in 2016. My new boss told me he was "THE" person to connect with on "ALL THINGS QUALITY" because of the breadth and depth of his experience. Given I was new to adidas, new to leading a quality team, and new to the sporting goods industry, Norbert was an absolutely indispensable and invaluable resource. Over the four years I was part of adidas' FTW Quality team we interacted frequently - especially on a few large scale quality- and compliance-related projects/topics.
Norbert always demonstrated an ability to bring together different thoughts and opinions and prevent teams from going too far afield in discussions. He was also incredibly helpful in driving towards tangible solutions. Though I moved into Sourcing Operations roles in early 2020, I continued to stay in touch with Norbert and would interact on quality and compliance topics from time to time. I always found his perspective on the company and the insight he had from the connections he built to be helpful not only to me, but also to others in my team.
